We walked around 6-8 houses on our first day of house hunting, and she purposefully planned around the last house, as if she knew it would be "the one" for us. We looked at a few more houses throughout Downtown, but "the one" had captured our hearts. Because of her knowledge of the market, she made it possible to find our dream house without wasting time house hunting. Her ability to listen is greatly valued. When we reached out to Summer, we were looking to just start dipping our toes into touring some properties. We had a rough experience in 2021 when the market was crazy, and we were a little hesitant to initiate this process. Summer was instantly someone we felt comfortable with. We toured properties with her for one day and she really helped us believe in our ability to make the decision to put an offer in on a home we loved. She was also stellar at helping us put an offer with some additional things we didn’t know were possible, which led to it getting accepted. She was so real and transparent with us for the whole process. She told us what we needed to do at every step and took care to answer our follow up questions so we fully understood all parts of the process. When I say that Summer is responsive, I mean she and her team are on it. We never felt like we were waiting on answer to a question or action to happen. She’s also really connected to the real estate community and the various partners that come with purchasing a home. You can tell that she has genuine connections with the various partners that helped us through this process. It really helped to make this whole process feel like an experience that we had the honor and privilege of participating. One of the realities of being a queer couple in Indiana is that you never know if any service provided to you is going to be free of bias. I can with 100% certainty and enthusiasm say that Summer is a queer friendly real estate agent. She was genuinely excited to show us properties and was delighted when we told her our story. Overall 11/10 would recommend Summer as a real estate agent, especially if you are part of the LGBTQ + community!

Summer not only helped us get our dream home, but she went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted out of it. She advised us through the entire process of what we should ask for and what was needed and gave us multiple options to choose what was best for us. She had contractors/electricians/hvac on call to personally quote what was needed to be done to ultimately get us back credits to fix everything we wanted done. She was super communicative about changes and reporting new findings/things with the house. We were never left wondering, she always let us know! She sold our current home so fast to ensure we were able to get this home and I’ll be forever grateful for her because of that. Thank you Summer!!!

I contacted Summer on a bit of a whim, and she got back to me within just a few hours. We found our dream home and could only get it on contingency of selling our home.
