Sarah Smith did an impeccable job as our real estate agent. Over the course of five years, we presented her with homes we were interested in and she was always available and willing to work with us. The home we finally bought was complicated. Our bid was contingent on selling our home. We had a very short timeline to sell our home and remove the contingency. It felt impossible, and we were surprised when Sarah made it happen. The complications didn’t end with the sale of our home. The new house we were buying, we discovered, had over $100 thousand dollars’ worth of repairs. It surprised us as well as the owners, so we were certain the deal would fall through. Despite it looking too difficult, we continued getting quotes for repairs and presented it to the owners. We spent over a month getting several quotes for work, negotiating with contractors and with the owners. There were several times we thought the deal seemed hopeless, but Sarah kept us encouraged and willing to continue moving forward. I couldn’t believe the day the house closed. It felt like she made the impossible possible. We are astonished with her knowledge of real estate, home repairs and dealing with contractors. She understands the process from both sides and works in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable. She is a skilled negotiator, is thorough with contracts, making sure we were protected throughout the process. I know reviews are always better when you mention a weak spot, or also post a negative comment along with the praise, however, I can’t think of anything I wished she had done differently. She is a fantastic person and a professional. I cannot recommend another real estate agent.
