About Me 😊 Yes, I am a “Main-e-ack”! But only because I am originally from the great state of Maine. I was born into a military family, so I am no stranger to the whole moving process. In fact, I lived in eight different states before moving away to college. My father’s career forced me to master the art of making new friends at a very early age. I am a prime example of a relationship type salesperson who is committed to my customer’s success. Taking pride in getting to know and understand my client’s needs, wants and dreams. And I am not afraid to take ownership in helping them accomplish their goals. I have lived here in Pinellas county, FL since 1981 and have lots of knowledge of our wonderful Suncoast. I have had a very successful sales career. Starting out in music retail where I was convinced by one of my regular customers to give Electronic Distribution a try. There, I sold board level components to the “design geeks” behind the curtains at well-known companies. Once again, my largest customer soon grabbed me up, promoted me up the ladder, and quickly made me their National Sales Manager. My next step up came as a Global Key Account Manager overseeing one of “Velcro’s” top world-wide customers. Although I have enjoyed a great sales career, I will quickly admit that my favorite gig was that of a “Chart Reporter” for Billboard Magazine. Yes, I was one of the few that actually decided where the artist ranked on Billboard’s weekly top 100 charts. I hung out with the stars and went to more concerts and back-stage greetings than you can count. However, it was my lifelong interest and love for real estate that eventually brought me to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. My given name is Richard, but people have tagged me with several nicknames over the years. i.e., Rick, Rich, Ricky, RG, Elvis and Boomer but my family and closest friends call me “Tricky”. Yes, I may be a fan of practical jokes. Whether you are looking to buy or sell, choosing the right agent to assist you is critical! Rick Treated Us Like Family

I am very surprised to say I was very pleased with my home purchase through Rick Goodridge and his team. I truly am a hard to please person who expects a lot from people I do business with. Rick was referred to me from 2 others that used him. From the minute we were introduced to Rick I could tell he was a professional, honest and hardworking individual that knows how to get the job done. Rick was quickly the front runner among a few agents we put our info out to when looking for that special home that would fit our bill. Rick quickly was showing us listings and visiting properties to qualify them for us 7 days a week. He traveled great distances in finding our retirement home. He spoke with us each day with status reports on his findings. The communication was awesome and I valued that highly. Buying a home is not an easy task from another state and of late it’s even more complicated with all the international buying over the Internet. Once he found our home he kept us up to date on the correct procedures to move ahead without any bumps and delays in the process. He worked well with the sellers agent in negotiating the sales contract with our best interests in mind. In the process of buying our home we came to know Rick well and enjoyed his company and conversations. Rick and his team did such a good job on the purchase process we gave Rick the listing to sell our condo the following month. Again, his guidance and advice was invaluable. His quick success with the sale was again awesome. Contracts, Title Company, HOA rules, as a seller it’s another ball game and again we were very happy with the results where he again did all the work. The only negative is I will miss all the email, texts and phone conversations between us.
