He was incredibly thoughtful and helpful through several months of working together, and we ultimately found a house that checked off everything that was important for us: location, price, size, and character. A few more thoughts: - We appreciated Randall's approach to finding a house. He basically told us "let me know what houses you want to see and I'll get you in as soon as possible." Everything is on Zillow these days, so we were finding listings within hours (if not minutes) of when they went up. Randall was a very effective facilitator. He was always available and responsive, and he got us in to see a number of houses same day. - We were moving from New York and conducting most of our house hunt remotely. Randall helped us determine which listings were worthy of "dropping everything" to come view them immediately. Ultimately this is what helped us find our house and close on it in 24 hours. - He has deep knowledge of Detroit homes and neighborhoods and clearly loves what he does. It was fun and informative going through home tours with Randall. He would point out small things we wouldn't have noticed on our own, that showed the character and quirks that we fell in love with in our 100 year old home. - We never once felt like Randall was pushing us to make an offer. It was clear from the start he wanted us to land in the house that best fit our desires and our budget. - As we got frustrated with the availability in our desired neighborhoods (Boston Edison and University District) we started looking elsewhere in the Detroit metro area. Because Randall had taken the time to get to know us and understand what we cared about, he was able to convince us to stay patient and focused on our desired neighborhoods.
