I was born and raised in the small town of Carrollton, Georgia. I learned leadership skills from my corporate executive mother and how important client relationships are from my father, an attorney. I attended the University of Georgia before meeting the love of my life, JJ. We had four beautiful children, and I spent many years running our household and staying at home with the kids. JJ and I always planned to retire to the coast, but we knew it was years away. However, by luck, an opportunity arose in JJ's company to relocate to the Lowcountry, and the entire family was elated. We moved to Bluffton and immediately fell in love with the area! The mild weather, the gorgeous beaches, and the friendly people drew us in.
