Buying a house isn't easy. Having to wade through a mess of professional there to help you with (and let's be honest, profit from) the process makes it that much harder. My partner and I interviewed a few different agents over the phone before talking to Neil and sensing he was a good fit. Man, were we right. Neil was always available to show us houses (even at the last minute), always showed up on time or early to pick us up or meet us there, had always done his homework on the houses we were looking at (as well as comparable homes in the area), and gave us room to have our opinions and lesser-concrete feelings about a place, while offering a professional's perspective on each place. Being a first time homebuyer, I didn't realize finding a home (after putting in four other offers, all of which Neil did a ton of work on) was only half the struggle. Neil came with us to the home inspection, a second showing, even appeared alone to go through the sewer scope with the plumber while we were at work--and he was amazing during negotiating with the seller and their agent, through some admittedly trickey waters. Would I work with Neil again? Not the right question. When we're ready for a new place, we WILL be working with him again. Meantime, snap him up.
