Well Kim and I started on this journey back actually in July when we looked at a 55+ community. We had looked for a home to downsize in in a couple different states but God didn’t give me peace. But this home in New Kent I had such a peace I can’t explain only it was God. Then to the next step our paths crossed with Monica Costello Kincaid she had been the agent for our daughter when she bought her home. I can’t sing enough praise to Monica Costello Kincaid and her team at Red Key RVA of how they walked us thru each step. We had what she called a couple hiccups and she never wavered on assuring us everything would be fine. Yes I had a lot of tears we have lived here 20 years and made so many memories it is actually the longest place I have lived my whole life. This team had appointments and opened house while we were gone so we could give them space to do their job. Came home and had many contracts and Monica guided us to our best option. Had a couple more hiccups and tears but she was always here saying everything would be fine. I prayed and prayed God if this is truly meant to be you will open every door and boy they opened wide. Today was the day we closed on our home but also received notice the slab on our future home was being poured. Where are we going to live now well that is another thing God did it we don’t have to be out of this house until January so I will start packing in another week and we will only have to move once. With all this said you will NEVER find a team more qualified to sell your home or help to find a home from beginning to end. Monica and her team are amazing! We sold our home and then a year later bought and both transactions were seamless! Monica makes sure to listen to everything, makes everything personable and helps with things you would never think of! And when there are scheduling conflicts instead of pushing it off Sophie steps in seamless and makes things happen. They are absolutely the best to work with and couldn't recommend them more!
