Miriam is totally responsible for us being able to purchase our new home! The market is crazy right now, and we made an offer on a house we dearly loved. We hit our budgetary limit, but still, we were outbid. We were second, and she encouraged us to sign a back-up contract. We did. Weeks came and went and we heard nothing, so we made other offers. We were outbid every time. We found another we really liked, and as we were getting tired of the rollercoaster, we made the most competitive offer we could. Miriam had to call us yet again to tell us we didn't get the house. We were totally bummed - then about 4 hours later, I got a text from Miriam saying that the first offer on that favorite house had fallen through, and since we had that back-up contract, it was ours if we wanted it. !!! She's been with us every step of the way - willing to run out and see places at short notice, keeping us positive when we felt like giving up. She knows her stuff, set us up with an incredible finance team who made sure that even though we had a foreclosure during the recession, we could get into a house safely and responsibly. While shopping for a home remotely (in order to relocate across the country), Miriam was attentive to all the details we couldn't see in person. She was also thorough in answering the questions we had as first time home buyers and proactive in her advice about how to approach negotiations — but never pushy.
