Mary knows the area well, and knows the market. She is very knowledgeable and was very helpful in all ways related to our house search. It took us while to find something we loved (and lost on a few offers along the way), but Mary stuck with us, and didn’t want us to settle for something we didn’t love. She is a straight shooter, which we appreciated as she didn’t beat around the bush about things, and was always very quick to point out any issues she saw with a house. In the end, we bought a house that was a new build. We love the house, and Mary negotiated a great deal for us which included the builder paying down our interest rate and contributing money towards our closing costs. We had the pleasure of working with Mary Jo Nealen during the recent sale of our home. From the start, we knew that we were in good hands because Mary immediately displayed the traits of a seasoned real estate agent. Mary had the answer to every question we threw her way. After listing our home on the market, we were under contract in less that 24 hours. Day or night, Mary was always available at a moments notice throughout the sale of our home. Mary would even attend showings with buyer's agents to ensure they were aware of all the minor details about our home (items normally overlooked). Later in the contract, we unfortunately received a faulty appraisal. Using her years of experience, Mary painstakingly spent numerous hours of her own time drafting an appraisal appeal by using appropriate comps that were overlooked by the appraiser. As a result, the appraisal was re-evaluated, allowing us to close without delay. Mary was the best, most thorough and professional real estate agent we have ever worked with. And, we have worked with quite a few in both the UK and the US. We would NOT have made it to the closing table without her. I highly recommend Mary to anyone! You will NOT be disappointed!
