We first shook hands with Mario at an open house in our neighborhood several years ago. Since then, we started seeing his signs on every block, hearing about him from our neighbors and seeing him at every neighborhood council meeting fighting for residents. Although we interviewed four different realtors, Mario was the only one who brought unique ideas to the table such as spending our money on the backyard to attract families looking to upgrade from a condo while all others suggested investing in more curb appeal. Additionally, Mario specifically wanted to target buyers on the westside which was a weird idea but guess what.... our buyers were from the west side. Picking Mario to sell our home was a no-brainer, after all, he sold the house two doors down for record breaking numbers in record breaking time! Mario Acosta is, by far, the best real estate professional I've ever worked with. When I was offered a job in another city, and I had to move, I wanted to sell my Studio City condo as quickly as possible. Coincidentally, one of my lifelong friends had recently sold her home and purchased another. When I asked her for a referral, she sang Mario's praises and put me in touch with him. During our initial consultation, Mario gave me great advice on the steps I needed to take to prepare my place for sale. I liked that when we met, he had done market research on my neighborhood and gave me a realistic idea of both what I needed to spend to get my condo ready and how much my condo was worth. He also provided referrals for the professionals I needed. Mario timed everything perfectly. He listed the condo on June 16 and held an open house on June 18. He had a wonderful photographer take gorgeous pictures of my place and wrote a well-crafted description of the condo for the MLS. Within a few days of the listing, I received multiple offers. Mario gave me great advice. I never felt pushed or forced to make a decision one way or another. As issues arose throughout escrow, Mario navigated them and helped me negotiate with the buyers. He represented my interests with integrity every step of the way. Escrow closed on July 11. It took less than a month from the time my place was listed until the close of escrow.
