Laura was an incredible asset throughout the entire home buying process. As a first time buyer, I had tons of questions and needed a lot of hand holding. Laura was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the process and offered insights about the local market that helped us get the right house at the right price. Laura was very responsive and would typically return an email within an hour (at all hours of the day/night). She helped us navigate a somewhat complex negotiation and she had high quality referrals for home inspectors and other services. If you need a home in Northern VA (Arlington/Fairfax County), I would highly recommend Laura.

It took us 9 months of searching to find the house we ultimately bought. Laura is smart, friendly, and knowledgeable, but what impressed us the most is how honest she is. Throughout the long process, she never pressured us to buy (in fact -- she was usually much more skeptical of homes than we were and great about finding the flaws!), never showed us a home that wasn't a good fit for us, and encouraged us to walk away if the home wasn't the right fit. When the perfect home for us came on the market (finally!), she helped us get the home off the market before the first open house. We had some unexpected hiccups with financing, and Laura kept everyone calm and kept the deal moving forward, bringing us to settlement on schedule. She was able to handle this situation because everyone can see how much integrity she has and the sellers trusted her -- she is just not the type of person who bends the truth to close a deal. Her honesty & ability to form good relationships with other agents got us our dream house and got us to close on time. She's really nice and funny, too! A pleasure to be around even when house-hunting itself is not so fun.

Update 2018 sale & purchase:: Laura has once again proved that she is the best at her trade. Her commitment to our needs was always noticeable. She anticipated every step in the process during the sale of our condo and the purchase of our new home. During the search for our new home, Laura was able to point out potential pitfalls and make key recommendations that helped us make a more educated purchase. She once again exceeded our expectations and we are forever grateful. 2016 sale of condo:: This was our first time using Laura and we hope to again. Laura made us feel as if we were her only clients with her attentiveness and work ethic. Living overseas and trying to sell a property presented unique difficulties, which Laura navigated seamlessly. Laura was also able to give sound advice for the marketing of the property and regularly kept us informed of all developments. And finding both in one is hard to come by these days, and a breath of fresh air. sold the property in 4 days. on target with advice. responds to emails/texts in a flash. fantastic realtor. has a good grasp of the different lendors and contract nuances and had a few handymen to get estimates from for some work that needed to be done in the townhouse that i was selling. was the point person for me and i did not have to travel from maryland for the virginia townhouse i was selling. would recommend again
