In 1992, Kim Antolini began her real estate career with a small private firm in northern West Virginia. Starting as the office manager she learned the trade and became a licensed agent in 1993. While the firm was located in beautiful rural Randolph County West Virginia it balanced multiple facets; commercial, land, residential, and development. This allowed Kim to garner experience for various branches of real estate transactions. These experiences have uniquely equipped Kim to assist a multitude of clients.
A few of these practices include working with general contractors to develop a new neighborhood in the area, where Kim assisted in acquiring property, collaborating on design and infrastructure, and finally marketing the sale of parcels. She also cooperated with owners of the firm on timber land research and procurement. This allowed her to deepen her understanding of the court system having to spend numerous days at the courthouse. Kim also has background in assisting a client in obtaining properties and advising in repairs in order to achieve the best rate of return. Yes, she helped flip houses before the term was popular.
Kim retained these lessons and relocated with her family to the Charlotte area in 1999. Shortly after this move is when Kim first met Peggy Peterson. Beyond her experience in West Virginia, Kim developed a bit of personal experience moving in the Charlotte area four times since 1999. Her family’s moves include relocations from East Charlotte, University Area, Huntersville/ Lake Norman, and currently Waxhaw. While living in North Carolina, Kim took a hiatus from real estate to teach math in Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools, all the while keeping up with local real estate trends. She especially loved learning new areas through running. This was achieved for signing up for races around the city or just driving to a new location to run. It was and still is a great enjoyment to see the diverse homes and atmospheres of different neighborhoods in the fast growing city. After retiring from teaching, Kim immediately thought of Peggy Peterson and immediately reached out, and from that conversation the Peggy Peterson Team was formed.
Kim truly loves living in Charlotte and would like to take the opportunity to share her affection of the area and illustrate her experience in helping you, the client, find the perfect home.
