She was recommended to my husband and I (as buyers) by a friend hwo happened to be a mortgage broker. She listened to our deisres in a new property (affordable waterfront). At the time, the real estate market was crashing, so we had time on our side and options. We had already gone through two other agents that did not work out. When we found our house - the plan was to see what we couldn't afford so that our direction (non-waterfront) may have to change. Of course, we loved it, and we visited several times before making an offer. Katie worked with us on that end- and didn't mind that we totaly low-balled the offer. I had done my own research, including that the house had been on the market for 9 months, the owners had received the house from a family member, etc. Although the offer was initially rejected, they countered and we accepted under a tight time crunch. Katie was great. We decided to rent our own house until the market came back, and then asked Katie to help us sell that one. With all of her help and insight, we sold the house within 3 weeks of it being put on the market and we got the price we wanted.
