Katie and the Rubin Home Team are the absolute best! My husband and I worked with Katie to purchase our very first home back in 2009 and then she helped us sell the same house this summer when we found out we were relocating out of the state. The entire team is kind, helpful, responsive, patient, organized, knowledgeable...I could go on and on. It didn't matter how crazy of a question I had, Katie was always quick to respond and was always available to talk through anything. In the four days our home was on the market we had about 100 showings and received 28 offers - it was incredible! Do not waste your time looking for another agent or team! If you have another agent, switch to Katie and her team! You will not regret it! Zillow recommended Katie and her team to my wife and I, as we struggled to find a home from several states away. At the time, I was active duty military and was prohibited from traveling out of the local area. This made it to where I could not go and physically look at houses, communities, and areas. We had interacted with several other agents in our search from afar, but from the first call we knew that she was going to take care of us. We were not the easiest customers to have either. We were looking at houses all across the state of MD. She was without complaint and remained extremely flexible with appointment times that fit our schedules and remained in constant communication. She drove to each perspective house and video chatted us to do a walkthrough. Her insight during this time saved us potentially tens of thousands of dollars as she pointed small indications of potentially large(r) problems pertaining to each property. When we ultimately did decide on a specific property the seller was not the most agreeable. Katie and her team were always on top of the paperwork, were always willing and happy to answer and explain any questions we had about any part of the process. After we purchased the house, there was an issue with the seller not disclosing some information in violation of state law, and her office was as quick to answer and help as she was before the sale. Do you're self a favor and give her a call! You'll be saving yourself a lot of stress and worry. As this was my wife's and my first house buying experience, we heard every horror story concerning things that could go wrong. I can tell you that dealing with her and her office was always pleasant, and at times felt to good to be true, BUT IT WAS TRUE. Stop searching and give her a call!
Katie, Stuart & their entire team are awesome to work with! We have purchased several properties and this time the process was by far the easiest, less stressful of them all. Katie and her team were awesome. We were first-time homebuyers during the height of the 2020 Pandemic and Katie and her team made the process awesome. We worked a lot with Stu when looking at houses and he was extremely knowledgeable about pricing and evaluation of homes. He was invaluable when assessing homes during our tours. Katie and her team worked hard to make sure we got to see each and every house that we wanted to with private tours and worked around our busy schedules. Around closing, there were some issues with the seller (not moving out in time, not having any house keys, garage door breaking...) and Katie and her team worked very hard to ensure that our closing process was seamless, despite the issues. She even offered to cover the cost of the locksmith since the seller did not have any keys (although it was an amazingly generous and kind gesture, we did not take her up on it as we planed on changing the locks anyway). Finally, during the paperwork portions of the process, Hilary was awesome! Hilary was very attentive, helpful, informative, and on top of everything that needed to get done paperwork wise. Overall, I would highly recommend Katie and her team!
