On a whim I decided we needed to sell our townhome. My husband who was completely blindsided by my whimsy said "Show me the data first". So, I went online and found out who sold the other unit in our complex. I am so thankful it was Kate. I reached out and she got back to me the same day. We chatted and she jumped into action. By the next morning I had the report I needed to show the husband what I was up to...he looked at the report and said "lets do it." Kate helped us get our place ready to sell ASAP as the market was starting to shift. I believe we had it on the market within 7 days of contact. We we went into contract 5 days later and then we used Kate again to find our new place. She was awesome to work with and didn't mind going to every house we found, even though some were just...wow. Kate is a true professional! As first time homebuyers, we had little prior knowledge of the home buying process. Kate helped us navigate this complicated process of searching for a home that was the best fit for us and working with loan/escrow agencies and sellers. She kept us very well informed during each step of the process and was always willing to take the time to provide valuable input and clarification of rules, regulations, and paper work requirements. Kate was an absolute joy to work with. We relocated from San Diego to San Luis Obispo (SLO). Kate answered all of our questions about the SLO market in great detail. I literally can't say enough good things about Kate. I didn't realize how it important it is to have a good realtor and luckily we came across Kate after a few less responsive ones. She went way above and beyond, to the extent of finding contractors, negotiating for the best rate, and managing renovations even after we closed. Kate is conscientious (always responsive and manages every aspect of the process as if it were her own house), she's a great negotiator (she saved us at least $10k), and overall she seems to really care about doing a great job. Kate helped us find our perfect retirement home. When we started this journey with Kate all we knew was that we wanted to be on the Central Coast. Kate listened to our long list of requirements. Her knowledge of the area was invaluable when it came helping us narrow down all the possibilities and find just the right spot. As out of town buyers Kate kept us abreast of every step in the buying process and even went so far as to meet with and get bids from several different contractors so we would know exactly what we were getting ourselves into. She was terrific at negotiating on our behalf. Kate was attentive to our needs and was always available to answer our questions no matter how basic (me) or complex (husband is a retired carpenter) they were. She even offered to come help us prepare and stage the home we were trying to sell - 3 hours away! No matter what came up we were confident Kate had our best interests at heart.
