About Julie Blake

As a transplant to the area, Julie has an intimate understanding of how complicated and difficult it can be to move a family, whether across the street or across the country. While on vacation on the Grand Strand for the first time more than twenty years ago, Julie and her husband realized the great potential and opportunities available here, did some quick investigation and deliberations, and decided that the possibilities in Myrtle Beach were just too good to pass up. They returned to Connecticut only long enough to pack up the kids, dogs and cats, sell the house, and say goodbye. A new home and jobs were waiting for them at the beach, having been acquired during their 'vacation.' They've never looked back. With five years of experience in residential land development and ten in sales management prior to moving to Myrtle Beach, and hundreds of happy buyers and sellers since, Julie brings a wealth of practical experience to her twenty year real estate career. She's the mother of three who attended both the St. James and Carolina Forest schools, and now the grandmother of three! Both girls continued on to study at Coastal Carolina University, as did her husband, Kevin, who is an assistant principal at St. James Elementary School, and her son began his career with six years in the Navy and continues to work on ships in the private sector.
