After retiring from an 18+ year career in the police force in Germany, Julia moved with her son to the United States in 2013. She took on various public service roles before settling into real estate in 2018, where she continues to help people much like she did as a police officer. Julia has always had a deep passion for homes and interacting with people, quickly realizing that real estate was her perfect fit.
Julia covers all of Maryland in her real estate practice and doesn’t shy away from traveling long distances to help clients find the right property. Kent Island, in particular, holds a special place in her heart, serving as her home away from home, with its charming blend of fishing, boating, and a shared love for the Chester River and Chesapeake Bay.
In addition to her commitment to her clients, Julia honors the memory of her son, Dewayne, who passed away in March 2022 at the age of 21 while serving in the Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base. Julia's ties to the military community run deep, and she proudly holds the MRP (Military Relocation Professional) designation, which allows her to specialize in helping military families navigate the home buying and selling process.
Julia's transition from Germany to the U.S. wasn’t without challenges, but her perseverance, punctuality, and German practicality helped her build a strong referral-based clientele. Known for being straightforward and approachable, she’s a natural problem-solver with her police background, thriving in connecting with people from all walks of life. Her precision and attention to detail, honed from years in law enforcement, ensure that every contract and disclosure is meticulously handled.
Whether helping clients sell or buy, Julia finds joy in every aspect of real estate. Hosting Open Houses is one of her favorite activities, and she takes pride in finding the perfect home for her clients, transforming a property into a place they will love to call home. Additionally, Julia holds the SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource) designation, further enhancing her expertise in the field.
In Loving Memory of my Son, Dewayne Austin Stevens!
