What a wonderful experience this time around. My last two attempts, to buy a house in 2018 and 2021, left me and my wife with PTSD. It seemed that even as an American working abroad, my foreign earned income was treated as if my wife and I were laundering money. We had a good agent at the time but things felt somewhat limiting. Then we were introduced to Johnathan and everything changed, literally overnight. Once I explained our past experiences and how lenders treated us , he smiled and said " not a problem." My wife and I were like, what do you mean not a problem? Within an hour we had a list of twelve lenders who specialized in buyers with foreign earned income. Then he asked " so what type of house are you looking for?" He, took our info and and within a day we were getting feeds on properties in our budget, in the areas we were hoping to buy with very good school ratings. Then when we narrowed down the list, to about 6 homes, Johnathan personally gave us virtual tours of all the properties. Johnathan and his team went above and beyond to provide really, really good feedback about what they thought of each property, the pros and cons seeing that we have two young children. His drive, energy, market knowledge and analytics are crazy good. He was always in contact with us and answered all of our question, concerns and even calmed our fears about the market and buying in this climate. When we found our home and the lender approved us (Yay! for loan officer Nick fantastic work) Johnathan found mistakes in the sellers paperwork, negotiated pricing based on the outcome of the home inspection, which in turn reduced the sale price of the home along with a nice amount of money for closing costs from the seller. WHAT?!!!!! Is this for real? It truly, truly felt like a best friend was helping us buy a home. It was never about the commission for him. We closed on our home on December 1st 2023. He doesn't know it yet but we're looking at a couple of investment properties.

I met Jonathan through his wife who happens to be my work colleague. Prior to meeting him I was having a lot of trouble with the home buying process. He was with us every step of the way from our loan pre-qualification all the way to our closing date. I can't imagine having to go through this process without Jonathan and his team. My family and I are forever grateful for Jonathan and he has become a good friend and extended member of our family.
