The difference between good agents and great agents is a wide chasm. I’ve bought and sold a few houses and I’ve installed the electrical on at least a hundred over the years. There are so many variables when you sell/buy a house and consequences as to your quality of life, net worth, and retirement. So glad I didn’t listen to the advice, from a well-to-do agent, on the first home I purchased. I know houses better than most and these are my people to wrap it up. Go find out if you if think they are all par.

He also showed knowledge of the current market and willing to come up with ideas for selling. John would return calls in a timely manner and answer any questions. I particularly liked the way he was willing to listen to my concerns and the respect he gave to them.

I think the key take away from working with John is that you can trust him. There was no misleading or fake promises. Real numbers and advice. They were very thorough and friendly. The home sold quickly and in the exact ballpark we discussed before listing. Truthfully the only stress in the sale of this house was self imposed problems I created within my own mind. Not to sound redundant, but you can’t simply trust most people, but you can trust John.

John and his team were wonderful!! When John and I first spoke, I told him what I wanted out of the sale of my home, and John did exactly that. Adjustments were made to accommodate my schedule. As trustee of my mom's major assets I had to sell the house she could no longer live in, and my brother who works in mortgages put me in touch with him. Unfortunately much deferred maintenance during my late father's final years meant that it had to be an "as-is" cash sale, and while the house had been 4/5ths emptied a couple of years back we would still need the new owner to take responsibility remaining property. John and his co-worker Renee worked to effectively market the house and by a couple of weeks after listing we had the offer I wanted. I can't say enough good things about working with John and Renee to sell our home. John was responsive from the very first phone call. He gave excellent guidance and advice. He was considerate and supportive. Selling our home was emotional. We were sad to need to let our home go but needed to sell. We had a weird bank issue with our credit union, but John and Renee were ready to help us through that, as well. Overall, I give them 10 out of 5 stars! We are extremely grateful for their care, professionalism, and thoughtful handling of us and our home. We highly recommend John Mckay. We know he takes great care of all of his customers, neighbors, and community.
