My selection criteria for an agent: (1) Full-Time Agent (2) Knowledge of the Local Market. I found John on the online portal for the TBGC&C community. His ad mentioned that he worked exclusively with homes in that community and that he lived there too. This was perfect, in my mind. Wow! I was blown away. Within an hour of contacting John, he had performed his research and set up several showings for houses that met my criteria (very prompt and efficient). The next day, we spent 3 hours touring the community and looking at the homes on the list. He not only showed me the homes but gave me a comprehensive overview of the community and its amenities (thorough and not trying to oversell me on homes that did not fit my parameters). We made an offer on the home of my choice on the same day as the community tour. John helped me determine the appropriate offering price and things were agreed to with the seller within a few hours. John’s knowledge of local pricing was invaluable. His negotiation skills clearly made the offer and acceptance process very smooth (truly acts like a fiduciary with my best interests in mind). More than anything else he is just a great guy who is experienced, very knowledge about market trends, knows when to adjust pricing and extremely helpful throughout the process.
