Jayne-Mari Garland

Jayne-Mari helped me sell my house 18 months ago, and I was so pleased with that experience that I called on her to help me when I was ready to buy again. My needs are very different now, and she really listened; both to what I said, and what I didn't say. I should add, this all came about a good six months before I originally planned to buy again, but she made time for me. She was a MASTER at advising me on potential issues and considerations of which I wasn't aware, gently teaching enough of her craft that I could be a confident, informed buyer. She helped me find just the right place, and when I wasn't sure, she set up appointments at comparable properties so I could be comfortable with my choice. Once my decision was made, she helped me calculate a fair offer. Once the offer was accepted, she represented me with the HOA, the seller's agent, the various inspectors, and the escrow company so that no detail was left out. Thanks to Jayne-Mari, repairs were completed, vendors identified, and all my questions answered, in time for the close of escrow. No request was too much for her, even though I know she drove a lot of miles and had several other active clients at the same time. She was always patient and supportive, even when my needs got ahead of her schedule. I really couldn't be happier with my purchase or with my representation. I'm thankful I don't have to move again for a long time, but if I did, I'd call on Jayne-Mari again.

Selling your house and moving out of the country is never easy. Add to that a health issue just before listing. This could have been a nightmare without Jayne Mari. As I suspect is true of many people, I went into the market to sell my home not knowing what I didn't know. Jayne-Mari respectfully and scrupulously guided me, assuring me throughout the process that I was in full charge, and that she would provide all the information I needed to make good decisions. She was in at least daily touch with me from the time we agreed to work together. She made suggestions, offered explanations, explored alternatives, and served as a general resource in all areas, from determining my next living situation, to cleaning and staging my home, to helping me through the physical move, to navigating the financial and legal parts of the transaction. She was at my side throughout. Even more than that, she was supportive of me personally, as I was selling due to the recent death of my husband. She really went above and beyond any expectations I could have had. She never just gave me a phone number, expecting me to take care of all the things that had to happen. Instead, she would gather the information and bring me her findings and insights. When we decided to change the plantings in the back yard, she identified a vendor and picked up the plants herself, so I could get a better deal. When she identified a worker, she was always there at first meeting to do introductions and make sure we all understood the expectations. When I dropped the ball on an inspection item, she's the one who remembered and took care of it herself. When an unexplained item came up on the inspection, she spent an entire afternoon on line and by phone getting the answer. She made both me and the buyers much more comfortable. When I encountered a technical problem during the preparations she spent several hours working on the equipment herself. When that didn't work she brought over a replacement and helped me work on it! No matter how busy she got, she always made me feel like I was the only client she had.

We first worked with Jayne-Mari when seeking a home to rent. Her professionalism, commitment, availability, timely responses, and attention to our needs made it easy to further ask her to serve as our agent when both purchasing and selling our home. We cannot recommend Jayne-Mari more highly and now consider her a life long resource for all of our real estate ventures.
