We purchased on our very first trip to the Sarasota area—while we were only here on a first time fact finding mission with the hopes of purchasing in the future. We felt this was a huge ask of the Gillen’s to show us homes AND introduce us to a brand new area, but they did so with pure honesty, zero issue with the time we asked of them, and with the most friendly and supportive demeanor we could imagine. In 2 full days of driving around and seeing available condos, we got to know this selfless and kind couple! When we saw “the one”, they leveled with us, spent considerable time explaining Florida RE to us, and with utmost transparency, assured us that we were making a sound decision. The deal was done in one day thanks to their expertise. To this day, we consider the purchase of our Florida home the best decision we have ever made, especially with the timing that was unbeknownst to all of us. Brian and Eileen were always friendly and professional. They hosted many open houses and put in effort into selling my condo unit. The reason for the three-star rating is that I don't feel that I received their best effort/work product (compared to the work product I saw for other properties they listed). I feel the photos of our property were inferior compared to photos of other properties (the colors were muted; the angles and staging were not optimal). Also, I had to request for the photos to be ordered in such a way as to show our beautiful view in the fist one or two photos. Eileen resisted, indicating MLS rules; however, the order that I requested was exactly the same as the order they used for other listed properties. In addition, the property description lacked the flare and enthusiasm that I saw in other property descriptions prepared by Eileen. In general, perhaps the time that I worked with Brian and Eileen was a particularly busy time for them, such that we did not receive their highest quality of work product.

Eileen and Brian were very knowledgeable, responsive and made the buying process truly enjoyable. This is an experienced team with integrity.
