I am not someone that would normally sit down and write a detailed review but the Gillens are so deserving of praise. My family had a bad week of home searching in the Tampa area. I decided we needed a break from the stress and decided to go to the beach in Sarasota and somehow ended up in Armand Circle. We then walked by Coldwell Banker and my says “there is a guy sitting inside, let’s go talk to him”. I was apprehensive but little did I know at the time that this was one of the best suggestions my wife had ever made. Absolute truth, we walked in and immediately felt like we had a friend in Brian Gillen. It didn’t matter that we didn’t have an appointment, it didn’t matter that we had not even agreed to use him as an agent yet. He sat us down and listened to us, that’s right LISTENED. He knew exactly what questions to ask and narrowed our search to 2 homes. The following day he found us our dream home. He even brought us around the community to show us what it was all about. We didn’t understand why he was being so nice and going above and beyond. We know now that’s just who Brian is. A genuine nice guy. We offered asking price on our dream home but after a long day of ups and downs we did NOT get the house. We had to return to Boston without a happy ending. We continued to communicate with Brian while we were back in Boston. We were once again not feeling confident that we would find the right home for us. Brian as always kept it positive, showing us other homes and talking to us as friends. Saturday morning 9:30am my phone rings and I see Brian’s name. I honestly debated about picking it up because I was so polluted with home searching. I picked up the phone only because of my respect for Brian. He says “ Do you still want the house because the other buyer’s deal fell through”. Needless to say we jump on our second chance for our dream home and WE GOT IT! We are in our dream home and loving it. The Gillens are now our friends and Simply the best
