Debbie Smoak was the perfect realtor. She was extremely competent and knowledgeable and explained everything to us very clearly. She answered all of our questions promptly and went over and above what our realtors in the past have done. When we couldn’t be present, Debbie was there. She offered suggestions for contractors who could help complete work that needed to be done in a timely fashion. Debbie is a fantastic realtor and we would (and have) highly recommend her.

Debbie Smoak was referred to us by a mutual friend when we moved from north Georgia to Savannah. Debbie is very familiar with Savannah and listened to what we were looking for and guided us to the right neighborhoods and of course then the perfect house. She guided us every step of the way through the closing and beyond. She also helped after closing as we settled into a new area. So when it came time to sell, we didn't hesitate to call Debbie to help us with the sale. And it was a whirlwind! I was dependent on Debbie's knowledge of the real estate market from the time we placed my first offer until closing. Once a contract was made, Debbie helped me navigate the mortgage process. Although I had purchased homes in the past, I was totally unprepared for the new procedures. Many of the documents the bank requested were concerning insurance that the homeowner's association paid. Debbie found and submitted these documents repeatedly. She even had the insurance agent write letters explaining the coverage. When contractors needed entrance to the unit, Debbie was there to let them in. She made sure work was done correctly. The mortgage process took so long that we had to change the closing date several times. Debbie was able to keep me sane throughout the process. Without a doubt, Debbie Smoak is the best realtor that I have ever used.

My wife and I have used Debbie to purchase 2 homes and sell our first home. I cannot rave enough about Debra. From the beginning, she was the utmost professional, listing my home in a way that attracted many potential buyers. Her beautiful photos of my home, which she turned into a video, presented it in the best light possible. Our open house was a success. Within 2 weeks, Debra had sold my home. As this was a highly anxious time for me, she was wonderful at calming my nerves. She provided me with many real estate facts that contributed to a fair buyer/seller contract. She helped me find good, reasonable professionals to make repairs. Debra also helped me with the little details that crop up when selling a home.
