As a single woman in her twenties living in Tacoma, WA, Dayna first found her love of real estate when a postcard landed in her mailbox, advertising first-time homebuyer programs.
After attending the class, she spent hours poring over the Fannie Mae booklet and calculators, digesting real estate concepts and weighing out not just how much of a home she could qualify for, but also what she could comfortably afford and the types of loans and home buying programs available.
Over the next twenty years, Dayna bought and sold three homes, two in the Pacific Northwest and one in Southwest Florida. Her first home was essentialy a "long term flip" as she remodeled and finished several rooms in the home and added a covered front porch, doubling the value. She also partnered in launching and operating a successful short term vacation rental in Las Vegas, Nevada, while maintaining a career in technology.
The drive to go full time into real estate took over and the transition began in November 2018. In 2019, after obtaining her license, Dayna selected eXp Realty as her brokerage. Its 3-D, fully-immersive, and full-service real estate cloud office environment was a great way to transition her technical skills and a natural fit.
In June 2020, as the pandemic turned the world upside down, Dayna doubled-down, jumping into real estate full time, seeing eXp's established foundation as a cloud-based business leading the way as other companies floundered to adapt to the "new normal".
