Being a novice in this highly competitive housing market, in my opinion, you need an experienced well-connected realtor, and I had the good fortune to be introduced to David Lopez of Berkshire Hathaway here in Fort Lauderdale. Charismatic, attentive, and sincere, David thoughtfully guided me through my recent journey. I told him my wish list and he located my dream home in my desired neighborhood that had just come onto the market. He immediately scheduled a walk through as well as showed me a similar home in the area the same day as a comparison. He helped me negotiate a fair market value for the home over the next few days, and once under contract, immediately scheduled the inspection with a well-respected company he has worked with for many years. He then got the seller to address a repair on the HVAC found during the inspection documenting a reputable company was used. David connected me and the seller with the amazing people at Core Title Company who coordinated the closing. He helped me with my homeowner’s insurance recommending a few brokers and after researching a few on my own, I found one of his recommendations worked best. David made the whole process so seamless that I now have contracted him to sell my condo. Buying a home, not to mention a forever home as in my case, can be arduous especially in the current environment; in my opinion you’ll find David will eliminate the stress and even make the journey enjoyable.

I just closed on the purchase of my first home in Wilton Manors. Buying your first home can be overwhelming, confusing, and has many steps that have to be followed very carefully, however, the process for me was smooth and well-organized, in no small part due to David’s knowledge and help throughout the entire process. David is an experienced realtor, and it shows. From finding the right home and getting the inspection, appraisal, survey done, to working with the lender and the Title Company, and yes, even making sure I got the best deal with the seller, David was on top of it all. He explained to me how the process would flow and what the next steps would be. He was honest in discussing with me what requests were realistic and fair to make to the seller. He was always available to take my (many) calls and reassure me when I was worried about the deal falling through. David assisted my partner and I with the purchase of our first home in South Florida. Now, several years later we just closed on another home and sold our first home at the same time so this is our 3rd closing with David and will continue to use and recommend his services.
