He found the properties for us which was good, but I got the distinct feeling that he was more interested in the needs of everyone else but us. This process took from July to November 2023 (my last housing purchase took less than 90 days to close) at a time when the interest rates increased 6 times by the Fed. By the time we closed (Nov. 10) and got the keys (Dec 11) our level of frustration had gone through the roof. In fact, at closing, his disrespect (in public) towards my fiancee and myself by his boisterous and threatening manner was witnessed by the sellers, title agents, and anyone who might be in earshot. When we asked him to lower his voice he stood up in a threatening manner and exclaimed that I was not supposed to read the documents "like a lawyer" but just sign them and hand them over. When I reminded him of the fact that he worked for me, he yelled at the top of his voice that he did not work for me. I found that to be quite unprofessional and this could be a teachable moment for him. As of yet, we have not heard from him, no updates, no apologies. This is strange because even though he lives directly above me in the same house I can hear him walking around but the only communication is an email indicating that our escrow issues are on us and the sellers to work out. He could use some improvement in communication skills.
