We worked with Dan to buy our first home and we could not have been happier with the experience! Dan and his team were always generous with their time and advice. As first time buyers, we were new to the home buying process and had lots of questions. He guided us though at every step and made the experience a breeze. He is incredibly responsive and available which was great for our schedule. He has tons of experience and that was helpful for us when buying our home in such a competitive market. Dan came highly recommended to my fiance and I from one of my coworkers. As first-time homebuyers with negative experiences working with prior real estate agents, we were very particular about who we wanted to work with during this process. Dan was representing the seller of a condo I was interested in, and he was extremely responsive to any questions that I had about the property. When the private buyer of my condo was unable to proceed, he gladly took on that responsibility and found a buyer almost immediately. He skillfully managed that sale, giving useful advice on fixing up the unit and negotiating the price. I learned that Dan had also represented the seller of my current unit and the buyer of my former unit, showing that they were so satisfied with his expertise that they sought him out again. I highly recommend Dan to anyone who is thinking about buying or selling a home. He is personable, responsive, and knowledgeable in the area of metro Boston real estate. My experience with Dan includes the purchase of a condo many years ago, the purchase of a single-family home, and recently, the sale of the aforementioned home. Over the years that my husband and I have known Dan, he has gained experience and confidence that have been beneficial to my husband and I as novice property owners. If I were to highlight one of Dan's strengths, it would be his ability to keep his clients on task. Throughout the process, he would check in on us to ensure that anything that was supposed to get done is done. When we first planned to buy our first home, we started researching the market and visiting open houses for several months. Of the many seller’s agents we interacted with during the open houses, we were particularly impressed with Dan’s professionalism. After reading the reviews and interviewing with four agents, we decided to work with Dan because he is very responsive, knowledgeable, and familiar with the real estate market in the area, and he proved so. He walked us through the entire process, pointed out the pros and cons of each condo we visited, and formulated strategies for making an offer during the pandemic. He also connected us to a lender, Roger Brasil from Guaranteed Rate, who provided us a better rate than all other banks and credit unions we contacted and has been very responsive to all the questions we raised during the process. We met Kristin on our closing day and she provided very useful tips on homeownership as well. The whole buying process was smooth and took about 2 months. We highly recommend Dan and his team to anyone who is interested in buying a house in the Greater Boston areas.

We recently had the opportunity to work With Dan Gorfinkle and Kristin Thompson with Compass Reality.
