About Me
You are probably familiar with fidelity, a word derived from fealty. Fealty is an antiquated word for an old concept. Often referring to service rendered to lords, it is the word fidelity was derived from. It is more than the belief of fidelity; it an allegiance, a vow to serve. It is loyalty, bred in the very essence of who a person is. I love helping people achieve their goals; it is a part of who I am. I often find myself saying "We're in escrow" instead of "You are in escrow," or "Here is our next step"…. I am a lifetime Arizona resident and have lived in the Prescott area for over 20 years. I know and love this area, and can impart my knowledge to you. From the time I was a small child, I loved homes. From building my own dollhouses to poring over Architectural Digest, there was no doubt some aspect of homes would play an integral part of my future. I began closely following the real estate market as a teenager, and found friends would sometimes call me with questions. When our family business reached the level of success that would allow me to step away from it, I considered obtaining my real estate license. Under the encouragement and tutelage of Flo Day, a 50 year veteran of real estate, and REALTOR emeritus, I took the plunge and realized I found my calling. When I am not working, I spend my time with my husband and my four boys. We recently purchased our dream home, an early 20th century dairy barn that was converted into a home in the 70's. It's a fixer-upper, but we enjoy doing the repairs as a family. I enjoy "handyman" work, so I take an active role in the repairs, whether it is patching drywall, painting, or holding the tools for my husband while he repairs irrigation. When I can, my favorite place to work from is the 3rd floor sitting room. In the mornings, I watch the sun rise over acres of irrigated pasture land and blue shrouded mountains while I drink my coffee, review emails, and check out new listings. Talk about a dream job!
