She is direct and forthright, giving information quickly when asked, and a little more reticent in giving opinions so as not to sway the client unduly. She has vast knowledge of the market, the neighborhoods, the trends, the factors which will best show a property for sale. Easy to work with, she was ALWAYS accessible by phone, email or text. She went out of her way to deal with our property at the drop of a hat when we were not on hand, though it is out of her immediate area. She was always cheerful, never upset by the vagaries and delays of those in the lending business, and always positive and encouraging. Catherine is the best. The very best. After using agents that said they would take care of us and didn't, we were gun shy and needed someone who had our back. Catherine understood what we wanted (a family home) and didn't treat our transaction like an "investment". She knew our daughter had asthma, she crawled under houses to check for mold. She knew we wanted a family neighborhood, a place for our kids to grow up. When we liked a house, she talked to the neighbors and got the low down of the bock. Catherine was so well informed about every area, very thorough, pro active, and protective of us and our interests. The best was her follow through. She chased down slow responding agents, out of town owners and non-responding inspectors. She saved a deal that almost went south due to others' miscommunication. The transaction stalled out and Catherine inserted herself into the middle and made it happen so we could move into our home before the holidays. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else again.

We hired Catherine to sell my house this year, when we were about to move out of state. We wanted a realtor with experience in selling houses in our hometown and who understood our neighborhood. Our house needed a lot of renovations and we were dreading spending the last few months of our time in California with our kitchen and bathrooms being torn apart. Catherine volunteered to oversee all the repairs *after* we moved and did a fabulous job. She coordinated the repairs, hired (and paid!) the contractors, and even bargained with them to get the best deal, all while we were out of state. She was very diligent in making sure everything got done, and the house looked fantastic afterwards. Catherine did a great job once the house went on the market as well, and really hustled to make sure interested people saw the house. When the first round of bids we got was disappointing, she convinced us that we could get more for our house and that we should hold off until we got a more appropriate bid. We did, and she was entirely correct -- a bid for about $35k more came in a week later, which was much more in line with what the house was worth. I should also point out that Catherine did a fabulous job of patiently explaining everything to us at every stage of the process. This was the first house my wife and I have ever sold, and she answered all of our questions very clearly, including handholding us through the bewildering paperwork the sale entailed. Her personality makes her very approachable and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone else looking to sell their house.

Very knowledgeable about the Richmond/El Cerrito/ El Sobrante area. Doesn't try to rush you into putting in an offer. She really wants you to have all the information available for a house before making an offer. She knows local regulations and points out any oddities she notices in houses. She keeps you well informed through out the whole process and communicates effectively. She uses technology to streamline the tedious process of paperwork. She created a spreadsheet with all the offers we received on our house that clearly outlined all the details and provisions of the offers.
