Though that headline phrase may sound cliche, this is how I summarized the work of Carrie Hall, Realtor, when I enlisted her support to market and sell our home. For Carrie, being proactive began with remarkable listening skills. Not only did Carrie ask questions around our goals, objectives and concerns, she actually listened and heard our response, being mindful of these things throughout the transaction. This level of proactive made the experience personal. Proactive also extended to marketing and creating maximum presentation opportunities of our listing. Rather than passively relying on the MLS alone, as so many of the “order taker realtor types” (put it on MLS and wait), Carrie sourced multiple avenues of garnering exposure, leaving no stone unturned to capture the attention of market prospects and real estate professionals. As it pertained to pricing and price reductions, Carrie remained mindful of market influences, buyer demographic and overall market activity, which allowed for an strategic approach to valuation, rather than defaulting to the common price objections. Proactive did not begin and end with incredible people skills and marketing savvy, it extended into transaction management and the level of attention and detail to ensure a seamless and stress free escrow and closing. In Carrie’s world, nothing happens by accident, it is a well thought out, coordinated, detail driven effort on all fronts of the transaction from staging, to photography, to market positioning, feedback analysis, follow-up and transaction coordination with title, escrow and other service providers. That’s allot to tout, and I’m proud to say, Carrie delivered on all fronts, missing none. For a most successful sales transaction, thank you Carrie for being a consummate professional. A well-managed transaction does not serve the totality of our experience, except to say, finding a friend in you extends the experience into a lifetime of fond memories. Thank you,
