First, let me start out by saying that my husband and I would not have been able to purchase our home without Brian. The house is located on the same court where we had been renting for going on seven years. When I found out that the house was going on the market I was pretty excited because the home offered many features that would be perfect for our family. But, when I saw what the home listed for I was disheartened. The home was listed at a price that was about 50k more than our ceiling. Not only was the home listed for more than we could spend but there were three other homes on our court that had recently sold for MORE than the listing price. We called Brian and explained the situation. He suggested we look at the home first. The home needed a lot of work. He suggested we go ahead with an offer even though it was considerably lower than the listing price. In my experience, most agents would not have agreed to this. But Brian went forward with the offer and had several conversations with the listing agent about our reason for the price and about the different repairs and upgrades needed at the home. The sellers countered our offer and we re-countered. We were able to come to an agreement at a price close to our offer and close the escrow within the 45-day time frame that we wanted. Brian was always available whenever we needed him in the process. In fact, he was typically way ahead of the game and kept us well informed of what to expect next. We were extremely pleased with Brian’s professionalism and responsiveness. I would highly recommend Brian to any of my friends and/or family.
