My wife and I were moving to the Lexington area from out of state and needed to get things squared away quickly. Nik was an excellent contact to have in the area that made our home buying experience simple, straight forward, and stress free. The one day that we were able to go to Lexington to look at homes in person we had a straight-forward route he had put together and breezed through 12 homes in a morning before deciding on one to place an offer. Moving from another state made a lot of the process difficult: scheduling the inspection, walkthroughs, and of course the actual closing. Nik was very communicative about the entire process and was our "eyes in the field" when we were not able to be there. It turned what could have been a very difficult process into one that was mostly hands off - and I could not be more thankful for that.
Nik is very knowledgeable about the entire process (from the beginning to the end). He always gets back to me quickly about my MANY questions and always tried to find the best way to help me as my realtor. Very reliable, prompt, positive and patient! If I ever buy another house at Lexington area, I would definitely work with him again.

great agent, great guy. Very helpful and goes above and beyond the call of duty. We were out of town buyers and Nik met us every time we came in town. Showed us a lot of houses, when we settled on one he was very helpful in negotiations, home inspection and repairs that needed to be made.

We have used Nik to buy our first house, to sell that house and now buy our second house. He has been great every time we use him. I cannot imagine doing a real estate deal with anyone else. He sold our house for over asking price and helped us get a great deal on our new house as well. He was always available to help with questions during the process (there were many questions) to facilitate anything that needed to be done or to lend an ear when I needed to air out frustrations with the process. He is very honest, have great knowledge of the buying process, engaging and paid attention to every detail and full of energy. He never missed a beat when it came to my needs and wants. He had a desire to help and that was the most important thing for me since I had previoulsy spoken to a few real estate agents some of whom wanted me to do all the work in finding the home and then letting them know once I found the home. Nik was there whenever I needed to see a house at the last minute. He always made sure I understood the process from beginning to the end and educated me in areas that I didn't understand since I was a 1st time home buyer. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Nik Markovich when buying my first home. Let me first say that we were by no means an easy customer to accommodate (though not for a lack of manners). Due to some situations that were out of hand, we had to deal with that lender who was “something else” to say the least. We put all that on Nik and he was more than efficient to solve or the problems we had. To make his job even harder, due to a pre-arranged trip out of the country, Nik had to deal with a 6 hours’ time difference and accommodate for all the phone calls, paper signing and so on. However, he was always very positive, supportive, efficient, compassionate and just a joy to be around. Nik extensive knowledge of the area, the contractors available, of homes/home improvement, and knowledge of realty made me feel not only comfortable but at an advantage while I was in the market for a home. He was very flexible, professional, and most of all, he cared about getting us into a home that we really liked. At some point during our lengthy, long-distance, hurdles filled process we actually gave up. I remember Nik texting me saying I’ll bring you back to the house you wanted, you can take my word for it. My family would not be where it is without the hard work that Nik put forth to ensure that we get the house we wanted, and we can’t thank him enough. Wouldn’t hesitate a second to recommend him to anyone who is buying/selling a property.
