First of all, it was both short and long journey with April, because finding a home was rather quick because she knew perfectly what we were looking for in a home and put us in a difficult position later to choose from the very the best homes that she had shown us. After choosing a home to make an offer, we actually missed each other's company so had to keep in contact regularly. As my husband and I are coming from a foreign country and also buying a home for the first time, April was very patient and walked thru every detail anytime we needed her help. She was on top of any future deadlines or schedules and was present in almost everything to guide us thru the agenda. She would be so perfect realtor for anyone who is new to buying a home or coming from a different country or even for local movers because she’ll be able to encompass anyone with any situation that they are in. Since she has so much knowledge and broad connection with people, it was a much more smooth journey not having to search for answers ourselves. We’ve probably got extra help from her finding the right company and agent to do our blinds and TV wall mount. She was just amazing and awesome from start to end. If a time comes to sell my house, I would again reach out to April, to experience above and beyond journey.

My fiance and I just completed the purchase of our first home with the amazing help of April Keesey, and we love the new place! She went above and beyond with every step of the process for us. We compared our experience to that of our other homeowner friends and family, and it was immediately obvious that we were getting much higher quality of representation from April than they did with their respective realtors. April's communication is very thorough, and we almost always received responses to our texts within five minutes. If there were any questions that she didn't immediately know the answer to, she would get back to us promptly with feedback from the seller's agent. Her prior experience as an escrow officer gave her extra insight into the escrow process, and she was also able to answer our questions on those steps as well! All of that was amazing, but what really made us know we had someone special occurred during the inspection process. The home we purchased had some dry rot, and it was very important to us to know exactly what we were getting into. April contacted multiple contractors to come take a look and get opinions on the extent of the damage, and estimates to repair. Once she found someone who seemed good for the job, she had us get in touch as well so we didn't have to take her word for it. In the end, we were able to get a seller credit that fully covered worst case scenario for repair. We felt comfortable and happy with our purchase. In this crazy Oregon market, you absolutely cannot go wrong with April. We have sung her praises to family and friends, and would never consider anyone else for the job now that we have seen the light!

April Keesey was the perfect person to be our realtor. We really lucked out to have been connected with her through our relocation company, whom April is a realtor for! We were coming to Portland from Kansas, relocating for my husbands work. Having never lived in the Portland area and knowing how crazy the current housing market is here we knew this was going to be a big process! From our first meeting with April where she spent 6 hours with us taking us all over different neighborhoods to get a better idea of what we were looking for, we knew she was our woman! She is passionate about the industry and has more years of experience than she looks in age- meaning young and beautiful but has been doing this for a very long time. She knows everyone in the industry as well and had all the connections for us, even a lovely woman to help me clean out our new home as I was pregnant and didn't want to over do it! Once we had moved here and our life was in storage April continued the hunt with and for us. She was beyond quick to respond to our texts and calls and then meet us almost always within 12-24 hours later to show us potential homes. Her patience was unbelievable and she made us feel like her only clients, even though we knew she was very busy! After touring countless homes, being (way) indecisive and unsure where we wanted to plant our roots here in the Northwest, we finally found a town home that we adored! April worked into the wee hours of the morning to write our offer up and was able to get us the home we wanted for the price we wanted too, which in this market is literally unheard of!!! So if you've made it this far in this review, you definitely need April on your team to fight for you and find you exactly what you’re looking for, and feel cared for from start to finish! She is kind, genuine and while we have no desire to move anytime soon, I cannot wait to work with April again to find our next residence!

Anyone looking for help buying or selling a home should absolutely choose April! I can not say enough about the support I felt during this very emotional process. She was so patient, caring and really wanted to make sure we got the perfect house for our family. She felt so much like a friend by the end and I miss talking to her everyday. April just helped me buy my first home. In Portland's intensely competitive market I wasn't a strong buyer, yet somehow she was able to get exactly what I wanted. I can't say enough good things. She's a true professional and highly recommended.

April was referred to us by the company I work for when I relocated from the UK to Portland. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Every step of the process was handled excellently. In initial meetings she helped us figure out the areas we should look at, and the type of house. We changed our minds a lot at first but this did not diminish her enthusiasm one bit. Being born and bred in Portland her local knowledge is as good as it gets. April explained the complicated sales process to us very clearly (as we are from the UK) and was able to quickly answer the many questions we had. Her responsiveness was also always quick, even though she was heavily pregnant through our purchase! The most obvious thing about April is that she cares about her clients and wants the best for them. The sheer amount of effort she put in for us made that apparent. Her friendly personality and empathy through a really stressful procedure helps the buyer a lot. But it also makes her a great negotiator (see more below). We purchased a foreclosed home from a bank. This process was really long and painful - but April was on had every step of the way. Even though the house was sold "as is" she negotiated the bank to do many repairs, and when one of those (fairly significant) repairs were found to be inadequate she made them do it over! Also, due to the long purchase process our lender tried to charge us for going past our guaranteed lock in period for our loan. Again, April managed to speak to them and they waived the fee. If you are looking to buy a house in Portland, you'd be foolish not to consider April.

April was fantastic to work with. She repeatedly went above and beyond to help me and to fix any issues that appeared. I was looking from out of town so she had to do a lot of legwork that I would have normally done while looking to buy. All of the other reviews have mentioned her professionalism, friendliness, and local knowledge so I won't repeat them but they are all true! April found exactly what I was looking for in a short amount of time, recommended good inspectors during the buying process, and didn't wilt when it came to tough negotiations. If you've got an option to work with April, take it!

The Portland market proved to be a challenge; however, April provided the expertise and patience we needed to find our dream home. Through every twist and turn, she never gave up, was always positive and upbeat & made the trying experience an extremely pleasant one. She is very prompt in her response with any questions that you may have for her. I think over the course of our 2 months working together she received over 100 texts and emails from me. She was ALWAYS quick to respond. I can't imagine going through this process without April. We are going to recommend her to anyone we know who is in the buying or selling a home process.
