April was the best Realtor I’ve ever had! She went above and beyond to help me through some difficult times when I was stressed out or simply needed a hand moving some thing to prepare for Staging. April is the best realtor I have ever worked with. I have worked in the real estate and lending industry for nearly 15 years and have never encountered an agent so passionate about taking care of her clients. We moved to Oregon from out of state so we were not able to be present for our inspections or final walk through. April handled everything and kept me well informed along the way. April’s Review I am so excited to share feedback on our experience with April Keesey in the listing and quick sale of our home. I have relocated 6 times with my company so you might say I am an ‘experienced seller”. I can say with 100% confidence that April Keesey was our best agent by far. Why? • Results – We spent a great deal of time before listing the house talking strategy. We listened to April’s approach (which she spent hours on before meeting with us) and agreed to move forward. That resulted in multiple offers and a contract over list shortly after listing. The house went live Thursday and we agreed in writing by Sunday for a very quick sale. • Professionalism – Class act during the entire process not only with us (the sellers) but with everyone involved in the process including other agents and prospective buyers. • Integrity – This is what I want the most when looking for an agent. I felt that April had our best interest at heart and she conducted business with a high level of integrity. • Hustle – We all want this! Rushing to handle things, we as sellers, don’t see such as getting someone to clean the gutters, paint the door…..she helped with those and other items while we were out of town. • Leadership – Not something you think about with Real Estate agents but you should. Are they listing the property and waiting for it to sell or are they driving the process? How? By working with other agents, paying close attention to the market, keeping us informed during the entire process, etc. If they are active during this process, you will get better results. Lastly, I will share with you what I told April. She is not only the best Real Estate agent I have worked with, she is one of the best professionals I have ever worked with across all industries. My family of five moved across the country, twice in 18 months, and it was not an easy process. But April helped us with our move back to Portland, and made this stressful time into a fun journey. For the first month, even though I was on the east coast, we were in contact several times a day discussing every single listing out there. I flew out and looked at homes; she was available to me at every moment. I always felt top priority, like I was the only client in the world, and my home was the most important home ever. It took me about 5 months of looking at every home listed in Washington county. We saw them all!! I know I was not an easy person to deal with but she never ever made me feel like I was being unreasonable in any way, and even encouraged me to be careful in picking my home. We had a lot of laughs. She truly wanted me to be happy. She is not an agent who just wants a sale. She really cares about you loving your home. When it was time to negotiate, April did not pressure me in any way; she listened to all of my concerns and backed me up on everything. She saved me money that I was ready to spend, and always made things less stressful. I thought most realtors were basically the same. But April proved me wrong. She is different. She is the best one out there, and you need her in your life!!
I was and still am amazed at how lucky I was to be referred to April! Her realtor skills are unmatched! From jump, she had a plan on how to stage my townhouse for a fast sell. And fast it was, like lightning. We listed on a Thursday and by the following Thursday we were under contract! Not only that, there were 4 offers; Each more than the last! It ultimately drove the price up $13,500! I owe all of that to April. She combed through the comparables of my house to match just the right price. She took her time to sit down and explain the reasons why she chose certain listings to compare and why others were omitted. April answered the question about How being overpriced, like many in my area were, will lead to a stagnant listing and have people question “What’s wrong with it?” “Why is it sitting for so long?” (Like the other listings in my area - 30 and 60 days!) Which leads to the dreaded price drops. Not my house! Not when April is the Agent! Her recommendations on what I needed to do for the sell were paramount. She pointed out potential pitfalls and how we could overcome them. Efficient and effective. Her keen eye for detail lead to distinct improvements to my house’s appearance and desirability. Without her guidance, I totally feel that my townhouse would still be sitting on the market. When it came time to negotiate the deal, April was truly in her element. She had back up plans A, B, and C ready to go. No detail was too small to overlook. She was a whirlwind of excitement and reassurance. She made what could have been a very stressful time into a smooth and easy joyride. Now my townhouse is sold and my family is getting settled into our new home. All thanks to April!
