I have lived in Somerset County NJ since 1999. Being actively involved in my community, teaching pottery to children, selling my art or donating my time and skills to local organizations , I have met and gotten to know many wonderful people in the area. Prior to moving to New Jersey, I lived in Canada, Vermont, Kentucky and Arkansas and through those many moves, I gained great experience and insight into successfully buying, selling, relocating and and feeling at home in a new community. Born in California, Lisa lived in Washington, D.C. and several New Jersey towns including Short Hills, Chatham Borough and Basking Ridge before moving to Tewksbury Township. Her husband’s career in the pharmaceutical industry took their family to Germany and North Carolina. “Between 1991 and 2002 we relocated six times,” Lisa recalls. “Those moves enabled me to become a knowledgeable and experienced resource for others since I understand the value of having a reliable, focused and dedicated agent in your corner.” Active in her community, Lisa is a member of the Raritan Headwaters Association, the Tewksbury Historical Society and the Tewksbury Land Trust. She and her husband have two married daughters and six grandchildren. Before joining Turpin, she worked with the New Jersey Historical Society specializing in inventory management, and became the first female superintendent at York Hunter City Services, a national construction management firm based in New York City. The next 20 years were spent as a partner in her award-winning family business, Toys with Love, where Stacey always put her customers' needs and quality products first. This popular landmark was originally based in Far Hills before moving to a restored 1700s farmhouse in Chester that Stacey helped renovate; the building was subsequently recognized with a Historic Preservation award. Toys with Love was highlighted in a national UPS marketing campaign, featured in Inc. magazine, Entrepreneur magazine, and on Martha Stewart's radio show. The business was also named Best Toy Store and Best Kids Parties in Morris, Essex and Somerset Counties for multiple years. This diverse background gives Stacey impressive experience in planning, historic renovation, design and leadership, skills that also serve her well in residential sales. Strongly connected to the community as a business owner, she has organized food pantry collections and supported local schools throughout Morris, Somerset and Hunterdon Counties with customized auction items she hand painted. Other local involvement includes serving as President of the Gladstone House Condo association (2016-18), Chester Architectural Review Board member (2016-18), and membership to the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Stacey received a Gladstone Civilian Service Award in 2008 for her generous support of the local community. In her free time, she enjoys painting large abstract canvases, figuring out how to make interior spaces work, visiting museums, going to the beach, spending time with family and hanging out with her rescue dog Molly, a Chow Chow mix. An artist at heart, Stacey graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation and minors in Architecture and Art History. A resident of Bedminster, she was born and raised in Tewksbury Township and is an ideal source of local information. Gerry-Jo was the #1 producer at Turpin Real Estate in 2021 and consistently ranks among the top agent’s in the market area. She has a New Jersey Real Estate Broker’s license and has achieved membership in Turpin’s Million-Dollar Club/ President’s Club every year since joining the company in 1987. Recognized as one of Turpin Real Estate’s Top Ten Agents and among the top ten in the area for total sales volume in 2013, she is noted for achieving one of the area’s top 5 sales that same year. Gerry-Jo has been a resident of Bernardsville since 1978, moving there from Summit and has lived in New Jersey throughout her life. She is married to an Englishman and has three children. Her home in England served as her base for traveling to Western Europe. In addition to traveling, Gerry-Jo enjoys the theater, collecting antique silver flatware, gardening, golf and skiing. Her volunteer activities included work as a board member of Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey, a trustee of Burke Mountain Academy.
