I felt very comfortable working with Theresa. She proved flexible in understanding my choice of condo and made it happen. Teresa first took me through information on the local market, pricing, etc. So when I looked at the condo I was able to understand where it fit in the local market. She was very thorough. I know she was in contact with the Seller’s agent to work out various issues that needed to be resolved before the sale could be completed. Teresa was very good about communicating with me either by phone or email so I had the information I needed to make my final decision. And now I enjoy living in a place that suits me and that was my top choice.

We had a very positive experience working with Laura. We were selling an older house in Berkeley that had lots of charm but also, being an older home, some challenges. Laura was able to enhance the charm but also identify the challenges and help us address them within our budget. Laura is very upbeat and energetic and is able to provide a steady hand during the sometimes up and down process of preparing a home for sale. Her knowledge of the Berkeley real estate market is impressive and gleaned from years of experience. In addition, her contacts in every area of home repair/painting/ inspection etc. allow her to arrange for necessary work to be completed in a timely and budget conscious manner. As a first-time house buyer, me and my husband had no clue what was involved in buying a newly developed house from a home construction company. Although we could have worked directly with company’s sale representative, we sought Theresa to have her as our Agent. Having her as our Agent was the best decision we made. Not only did she assist us in the house buying process, she made sure that the company handled things from their end accordingly. Theresa also fought for us when my husband and I had a conflict with the original closing date that the construction company tried not to honor. Theresa made sure that we weren’t taken advantage of. Theresa is very knowledgable of real estate policies, and her negotiation skills are top notch. Plus, Theresa is the sweetest person, and genuinely cares about her clients. I would definitely recommend her to anyone interested to purchasing a home.

We selected Anja and her team after interviewing several realtors. We were impressed by their market knowledge, professionalism, and clear track record. One member of the team took the lead in preparing the house for market. In our case that meant replacing knob & tube wiring and related patching, interior painting, several smaller preparation projects, and coordinating staging. Her knowledge of what needed to be done as well as local resources to do the work was excellent. She kept multiple projects on track to ensure that the house would be market ready. The team handled all aspects of marketing and open houses very well. There were many open house visitors and multiple information packages were distributed. Azadeh helped us get our first house, a huge milestone for us! Getting a house in the Bay Arwa is nuts in any case but when it’s your first home, you really need someone who “knows the drill” and can walk the line between your goals and the reality of the moment. Azadeh did this and we were confident we put our best foot forward, even in the houses that we didn’t get. When we reflect our house, it feels like the house we always were meant to get, not in a “destiny/universe” kind of way (not that there’s anything wrong with that), but the house we missed on were because we didn’t stretch into something we couldn’t afford, or if we could afford it and didn’t, it’s because it wasn’t the house we wanted to invest in. We couldn’t be more confident that we have the exact house at the exact valuation for us, and we believe that Azadeh’s experience in East Bay real estate is what got us there. Seeing how elated she was when we got our house confirmed that she was in it for the right reasons with us.

Faye first found us a house in 1991 — it hadn’t even gone on the market yet but she knew it was just what we were looking for, and she made it happen. Fast forward 35 years and she just helped us quickly and efficiently sell our most recent house in the hills. The real estate business has evolved dramatically over those 35 years — it’s more complicated and requires attention to the most minute details — but Faye hasn’t missed a beat. She’s totally on top of all the issues and makes things as clean and easy as possible for her clients. Through it all she’s cheerful, upbeat and always available. Forget about “Better Call Saul” ‘cause you “Better Call Faye” as she is the absolute BEST in real estate. My husband and I both highly recommend her as we bought and sold our house with her! In 2013, we moved from Boston to Berkeley and we needed to find a house for our growing family. We were extremely fortunate to find Faye Keogh at The Grubb Company who became our realtor! It seems like such a cliche, but she actually listened to us and only took us to houses that had true potential for our family. I remember walking into this beautiful Mediterranean house that she found and instantly thinking, “This is it!” We made so many beautiful and wonderful memories there as a family and with our friends. Twelve years later in 2025, with our kids in college and officially empty-nesters, we decided to downsize and put the house on the market. We went straight back to Faye! She returned and walked us through the entire selling process, keeping a keen, trained, and experienced eye on the current housing market, offered helpful suggestions for refreshing the house (We did live in it for 12 years with 2 busy kids!), organized effective Open Houses, and she hired the most amazing photographer, landscapers, house cleaners, and other professionals to showcase the house to its fullest potential. She is a true and seasoned professional, organized, kind, knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and always very generous with her time, energy, and spirit. We really appreciated this! Plus, she knows the Berkeley area like the back of her hand!
