The market and life events signaled it was a good time to sell our home at 1A Timber Way. I had no experience with any local realtors so I called someone on a recommendation. When the first realtor showed up and after the walk through the realtor shared with us how the market was heading south and the days of getting an offer “over asking price” we’re over. I really was not impressed with that attitude and lack of energy and excitement. I called Tori Harrison the next day. After Tori walked through the house, her energy was hard to conceal. And she shared the fact that she grew up directly across the street which was kind of cool. After she explained how she came up with the “asking price”, she related that she expected the offers to exceed that price. My husband and I just completed a complicated sale/purchase that involved a 1031 Exchange and properties in Dennis Port and Sandwich. There were multiple delays as a result of problems with the sale of a property owned by the purchasers of our property, which required multiple adjustments by all parties involved, often facilitated by Ryan. To complicate matters further, we are located in Louisiana. Ryan had to intervene several times by making trips to our Dennis Port condo to manage repairs and take care of other issues. He was instrumental in securing repairmen, attorneys, etc. Throughout the entire process, which lasted almost four months, Ryan was professional and communicative, and likely handled additional problems we are not even aware of. We could not speak higher of his real estate knowledge of the Cape Cod area, his knowledge of the legal elements of real estate transactions, and his professional countenance. Jackie made this sale happen, despite so many complications and difficulties with a turning market, rental tenants slow to move out, buyers making incrementally more demands, and a very long time to wait for closing. Jackie helped us price the house competitively, working comps and a market analysis to get it just right - able to sell quickly, while still at a good profit. Jackie got the house showing, and secured a buyer within days! This was quite the feat as we had rental tenants with six months left on the lease, and the buyers agreed to wait. During those six months is where her professionalism, strong communication skills, and management of vendors and other professionals were truly on display. Issues with the dock permitting, issues with minor items from the home inspection, changes of the closing date to accommodate the tenants late move out, and last minute repairs - she stayed above all of it and saw everything through to completion and kept the buyers onboard throughout.
