We had made plans for me to visit homes on an intended trip to Raleigh for work. This trip was pulled due to the rising COVID situation at the time, but we decided to reach out to get some realtor contacts who might be able to help us show remotely. A few contacted us back, but none were as responsive and immediately helpful as Maya was, so we had a feeling we were already in good hands. We provided a list and we did a video tour of each property. Maya did a stunning job in highlighting the items we were keen on, as well as giving us insight on the neighborhood/area for each listing. She was also thorough in helping us get a 'feel' for the house, which can be tough to do over video. Her reaction when she went to the home we ultimately purchased was a great indicator by itself that it would be the winner. Throughout the extended and remote (we were living in CA at the time) purchase process she was in touch and thorough. A home buying experience can certainly be a trying/stressful time, and even more so across country in the midst of a pandemic. She was easily able to answer all of our questions as first time homebuyers and guide us through the process. Hire Jon, make your life easy. Right from the start he nailed what needed to be fixed, how to make it look move it ready and got the valuation dead on accurate. He knows Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and Durham really well. We sold our place in Hillsborough with him. When problems came up (don't they always in house sales?), he had the resources at his finger tips to get the problems solved. He also knew when to push back on unreasonable demands and how to smoothly navigate negotiations. Closing was a breeze. Easy process for us with Jon's advice.
