Before settling down in Raleigh, NC, I lived in Boston and Florida. Prior to my career in real estate, I taught elementary-age children, worked in the restaurant industry (where I met my wonderful husband), and realized my passion for people. I am a proud mom, wife, mimi, and embrace each moment I spend with my loved ones. After 25 years, I have sold, rented, and managed properties for hundreds (likely thousands) of clients in S. Florida and North Carolina. I'm passionate about my profession and serving my clients and other Realtors. I was President of the Durham Regional Association of REALTORS in 2015, and the "REALTOR® of the Year" for 2016. I serve on numerous local REALTOR® Association Committees as well as serving on the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® Residential Forms Committee. I'm very involved in a local Sports Club, having been President for 4 years and now serving as PR Chair and Chair of the Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Committee for more than 20 years - now awarding over $70,000 in scholarships each year. I have served on the "Durham Sports Commission Advisory Board," part of the Durham County Department of Tourism charged with bringing people to the area through sports events of all types. Knowledgeable

It is hard to believe we just purchased our third home under the stewardship of Susie. This wad my first resale buy in a long time. The process is a bit different then a new home purchase. We appreciated the guidance and professionalism Susie provided. The contacts Susie and Maya have for minor repairs, cleaning, loans etc. went a long way in simplifying this purchase.

Efficient, responsive, and kind

Maya was a fantastic agent! We met with a few agents before Maya, and as soon as we met with her, we knew we’d be in good hands! In a matter of weeks Maya had a plan of action. Impeccable Client Service

Maya was incredibly attentive towards us and our needs throughout our home-buying process. We live out of state and she made us so comfortable because we trusted her after meeting her and seeing her expertise as we toured houses. We trusted Maya touring the house for us and we were not disappointed. Knowledgeable, efficient and a pleasure to work with

Maya knows the market and gave pragmatic advice attuned to our preferences. She took the time talking with us about how we wanted to approach selling our house. She organized everything that needed to be done to prep the house for sale and kept the process on track. The house sold for a good price within a month of going on the market.
