I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Maya and Gina. As first time home buyers in a crazy market, we were completely terrified of even looking for a house! We had a rough experience with our first realtor and were referred to Maya and team soon after. Maya immediately treated us like family. She was honest, knowledgeable, and kind. Soon after we spoke on the phone Gina took us to look at homes. She was professional and so helpful. We didn’t know what we were looking at at some points and Gina talked us through what to look for and helped us see the potential in different spaces. When the home we were going to put an offer in on turned out to be out of our range (too much fixing up needed), Maya took it upon herself to go look at homes for us since we were moving from states away. She took videos of not only the home but of the neighborhood and did a true walk through to make us feel like we were there. Throughout the buying process Maya and team were so patient and answered all of our questions, no matter how silly they seemed to us. Once we purchased our home and began to move in, we found that the seller left some damage behind that was not there during our inspection. Maya and her husband came over and installed new blinds, repaired a hole in our baseboard, and she even wiped down spots on our wall with a magic eraser. She also sent her son and a friend to help us move heavy furniture in. This was completely unexpected from a realtor. Who goes out of their way like that for people they barely know?! From the beginning, Maya and her team made me comfortable by explaining the process necessary to get my house on the market and sold. To start this process several of them, with Maya, met me in the house, walked through and around it, made suggestions how to enhance the salability. Then Maya brought an Estate Sales owner to the home, and who then arranged an in the house sale of valuables electronically, followed by removal of the unsold items. Maya then arranged thorough cleaning, and some improvements that enhanced the sale successfully. Maya's extensive experience was helpful in setting and negotiating the ultimate price, with which I was very pleased.
