I am really glad my family had a friend refer us to Al, and I am happy to refer others to him. We had done some shopping around for homes with different realtors and, frankly, they gave us the “ick.” Al is a different breed. It was our first time buying a home and we were under a time crunch—our landlord was gifting the home and gave us a few weeks to relocate. We did not want a realtor who was just going to give us a flowery answer for the sake of being friendly. (Not that he isn’t friendly) We wanted someone with a strong knowledge base who could point out the things we may have missed about a house and ask the questions we did not know to ask—and that is what we got. If a house turned out to be a stinker we didn’t waste any more time on it. Al was looking out for us and not pushing us to just get a place just because of our time crunch. He spent several Saturdays with us and our kids in tow, and now we have a beautiful place that really is the best we saw, and way better than I hoped we would get. I’m sure his tenure in this business and good relationships he has formed helped us secure the winning bid. We’re hoping we will not have to go thru this process again real soon, but if we do we’re definitely using Al.
