Michelle did an amazing job as our realtor! She went above and beyond the norm when it came to making sure we closed on time. We had some issues that suddenly came up during the final week prior to closing. This was a first time thing for me, and kind of a big hard step for me to take especially for the rough market and Mary Jeanne stuck with me and helped me with way more than I thought a realtor would. She went above and beyond to make this purchase happen, if it wasn't for her hard work and dedication I wouldn't be able to say I'm a home owner. I know I wasn't the easiest client and definitely did not pick an easy house to buy. Was huge learning experience for me and she help me navigate through it all, helping me get a great mortgage broker, with finding me an inspector to helping me find a contractor and being at the place when I couldn't to keep the process moving forward. I'd recommend her to everyone and if I ever go to sell or buy I'll be calling her!

I have known Michelle for almost 25 years. She became our agent in 2013 to sell our home in Troutdale. During that time she assisted me in buying my very first home by myself, in Gresham. Michelle Carter Smith is the bomb, she did a great job helping us navigate the sale of our home in a very tricky market. In a buyer's market she helped us price competitively while still getting a fair price. We ended up with 4 very solid offers and were able to select the best. It was a rollercoaster ride for sure, and having Michelle there to advise at key moments and make sure all the paperwork was done correctly was huge. In addition I felt she went above and beyond, making herself available, as she was out of town on a family vacation during the first week of our listing. We were not able to get our house listed until very late in October, right before she had to go out of town. During that time she made sure we were taken care of and was completely involved on a daily basis despite being in a time zone 8 hrs ahead of us, taking a vacation with her family. In a nutshell we had to list our house at a terrible time of the year, and also as the market was going in the toilet, spiralling downwards into a strong buyers market, with interest rates soaring, but were still able to get our house sold quickly and competitively. Michelle has helped us buy 3 separate properties in Corbett. If you are interested in buying in Corbett, you need to get onto Michelle's potential buyer's list. She will interview you and make sure your offer making status is ready to go. She will then be aware of what you are looking for and when anything suitable comes onto the market, she will notify you asap. She is thorough, honest and no nonsense. Everything went surprisingly smoothly this last time, despite the lack of communication from the other broker and the uniqueness of the property. We cannot recommend Michelle highly enough. 10 stars!
