Edgar was our confidant and partner as we made our cross-country retirement move from Washington State to Florida. From the get-go, Edgar went out of his way to help us find our perfect spot. He didn't try to impose his own likes and preferences on us, but he listened to understand our needs, then identified great properties for our consideration. After 2-1/2 days we found our great spot north of Orlando away from the crowds but close enough to everything. The only thing that every buyer needs to consider is to make sure to understand what an "as is" purchase is. We spent thousands more than what we should have spent because poor inspections (pool and HVAC) did not identify issues that could and and should have e been called out to enable us to negotiate a lower price, as we paid a premium price, then forced to pay $30+k which we would not have paid had we known the extent of required repairs--drawback of buying long distance. We don't put any of this on Edgar but more on the selling agent and on the very poor inspectors. We'd definitely use Edgar again. We consider him our first Florida friend 🧡
