We have had a long journey trying to "upsize" from a condo on the beach to a home with water access on the river. In the end it was about a two-year ordeal puncutated by Covid and dramatic swings in pricing and interest rates, none of which was working in our favor. We would classify ourselves as certainly picky with strict features we wanted in a new home. Karin was along for the whole ride, even when we decided to take a couple of months off from actively searching, and was very proactive about sending us near daily reports on properties available that met most of our wish list items. She was very patient, often when we were not, and was always ready and available to show us properties when we wanted - even during those days when things were selling so fast you had only hours to make a decision. Nonetheless, she perservered and in the end we found a property that matched all the major requirements we had initially started with. During the buying process, she was great at handling all the small and not-so-small details related to inspections, negotiations, and the like and made that part of the buying process that much easier. She is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the buying/selling process and the legal and technical aspects of all the requirements in these processes. Even though we have now purchased the property she is still willing to help us find information as we settle into a new area showing that her service didn't end with the closing. Karin was a great agent to work with in selling our condo. The timing was a challenge and condos have been a bit more difficult to sell in the current market. Despite quite a lot of effort, like everyone we initially had few showings and were starting to get discouraged. When we fould a property we wanted to purchase, it became even more critical for us to sell our condo in a tight time frame. Here is where Karin shined. She redoubled her efforts, repeatedly putting out ads on social media, hosting additional open houses, and holding realtor events at the property to enhance interest in the property. She provided constructive criticism to help the property show better which we are certain helped us in the end. Within our deadline, we had a buyer at a strong price and were able to get the new home. We appreciated the great knowledge base she has, not only on the details of the real estate process, but also virtually everything related to home ownership. She has a wealth of information on local tradesmen, vendors, and others needed for everything house related. She is very communicative and is always willing and able to answer our many questions in a cheerful fashion. She seems to have a good working relationship with other realtors which helps when trying to answers to questions from the "other side".
