Unlike other real estate agents, Tom made an excellent impression on us when Eric and I first met him at 32 Arboles Irvine for an open house. He presents himself very professionally and friendly during the open house. I felt like very welcome and comfortable when he greeted us and answered the questions we asked. You felt you related to him not only as an agent but a friend as well. After we met at the open house, Eric Chu, my son, continuously communicated with Tom via emails and phone calls for questions and procedures related to purchasing the subject property. During this time, Tom patiently offered his professional experience guiding us through all inspections and required reports, providing timely information, and helping ease sellers’ concerns about the long delay in removing the contingency due to the switch of lenders. Tom advised us to release a portion of the earnest deposit to the seller to show our due diligence to obtain the approval of the loan at no time. With Tom’s consistent effort, guidance, and assistance, we were able to go through this long and challenging process until the Escrow was closed. In addition, Tom organized a dinner for both parties, sellers and buyers, to socialize and interact with each other in person, and that was a great dinner for us to get to know each other more in-depth. Tom is a down-to-earth and authentic person, and we are so lucky to have him help us with this transaction and become a true and good friend with him.

When I decided to sell my home, I didn’t hesitate and called Tom, whom I had known for a number of years. Tom exudes knowledge and personal support and he delivered without obvious effort or hesitation. He answered all my calls and questions, not just related to the sale of my home but the offer we made on a new property….and he took me to see many. Though the sale of my prior home has closed, Tom has continued to work with me to facilitate my rent back and final walk throughs, as well as continuing to provide essential guidance and help navigating the new Association’s rules as we move through Escrow. Without Tom’s dedication, support and friendship, I doubt I could have managed with anywhere near the equanimity and success that I did.
