We just happened to stumble upon Bill and Carol Burchfield outside of real estate. Wow, were we lucky to do so. Working with Carol and Bill is like a breath of fresh air. Professional, courteous, and straight forward. We have bought and sold several houses with them and each time has been a pleasant experience. Carol is always proactive in checking on the process from the offer all the way through the signing. She stays on top of things night and day to ensure if anything pops up, she has it solved. She is extremely knowledgeable about the market and the area. She listens to what you need and want with your transaction and finds the best solution. As a matter of fact, when it came time to sell my parents home in Florida, Carol spent several hours on the phone, interviewing and finding us a Realtor in Florida to use for that transaction. Bill was a wealth of experience from his past career in finance as well as the many years of real estate. He stays on top of the trends and market news to provide his input on the numbers. Together they are like a well oiled machine. They are always available by phone and email, even when away from the office. Even with this last transaction, they went above and beyond. The afternoon before closing, we discovered that we had Covid. We were supposed to sign the next morning at 9am and it was already 4pm the day before. Carol and Bill found a Notary willing to assist and arranged for us to meet him. They picked up the paper work from the attorney and took it to the notary so that we could go straight there to sign before they closed. We then dropped off the paperwork in the slot of the lawyers office. Crisis averted. Not only do we respect them as Realtors but also as friends. I can't imagine anyone in Myrtle Beach or the surrounding areas using any other Realtors. Great job to them both!
