While I hate reading long recommendations, I hope you will read all that follows to understand why I strongly recommend Michelle Price for your Realty needs. In mid-September 2020, after I signed an employment contract with a Des Moines based company, I asked HR if they had any recommendations for a Realtor, as I would be relocating my family from Kansas City. They gave me Michelle Price's name and I contacted her by email. Within a few hours, she had responded and soon we had a group phone call with my husband to discuss timelines and what we were looking for. When we decided on a specific school district we were interested in, Michelle followed up with a not-at-all-overwhelming number of listings sent directly to us. Almost all of then had at least 3 of our 4 of our "must have features." We drove to Des Moines with the kids the last weekend of September to walk through some available houses. We had strong interest in one of the homes but concern about flooding, so she did her research and was able to answer our question, knowing the answer would dissuade us from pursing the purchase of that specific house. To me, this demonstrated remarkable integrity. She was more interested in our long term happiness than with earning a commission with a sale. The next weekend, we again went up to Des Moines and walked through several more homes on Sunday morning Oct 4th. The first one we saw that day blew us away. She had listened to what we said the first day we looked at houses and had chosen a home that we probably would not have considered on our own, but she knew it would interest us. None that we saw afterward compared. We placed an offer at 11:45 and the seller accepted it by 12:30.
