Prior to putting our house on the market, I interviewed three well rated realtors and asked them to come prepared for a given scenario. I asked tough questions and reviewed their materials carefully. Katrina was far and away the best qualified realtor for our sale, with detailed analyses of the market in our neighborhood (she sold many of them), an in-depth understanding of the homes, their idiosyncrasies and remedies, a clear, progressive plan for how and where to advertise and competitive rates. Given that this was an estate property, we held a massive yard sale to empty the house. Katrina jumped right in, advertising the sale, giving hints on how to set it up and set prices, and showing up early the morning of the sale to pitch in. It was a very tiring and successful day, but Katrina stayed with us to the end. In addition, there were some unruly neighbor situations that Katrina helped handle with professionalism and patience to a peaceful resolution. Katrina kept in touch with me daily in the beginning, holding two open houses to increase the visibility of the property. Within a very short time, we had multiple bids and were negotiating toward a very agreeable price and set of contingencies. She arranged for and was present at all the inspections and repairs, as I live out of town, and made the closing process painless. Katrina was the professional we needed and a kind, and lovely lady that I will continue to stay in touch with. I could not recommend her more for the sale of your home.
