So my journey to find a house had led me to Zillow where I found what seemed in the pictures and description to be a nice property in the middle of farm land probably 20-25miles from the nearest town. Now on Zillow they have an option to find you a real estate agent so I took advantage of it. A Zillow representative contacted me and connected me to an agent who seemed very knowledgeable in the area except when she looked up the travel time to the property and told me it was a lil too far out. . Ok cool no problem, I go back to the Zillow rep and he connects me with a second agent who also thought it was too far away. I go back thinking third times a charm and nope haha. I’m beginning to think this Zillow option is crap and these realtors don’t want to make money. Then I met Bill and I couldn’t have been more wrong. When I connected with Bill he told me he was on vacation but he would definitely drive out there to show the property if I could wait an extra day or two. Lucky for me tho a crazy storm had cut Bill’s vacation short and instead of going home first, He called me up and said he could meet me there on the original day I chose. He shows up on time and later I noticed he was always arriving to the properties atleast 10-15mins ahead to make sure the property was safe to enter. Anyway just him meeting me in the middle of nowhere straight from being on vacation was enough to know he will be my Realtor but he was also very knowledgeable. I didn’t put an offer on the property but I did find a great Realtor. Another thing I liked about Bill is his keen eye to find flaws that a buyer maybe wouldn’t see due to his past career in construction. We saw many houses I wanted to go see and eventually i started to get desperate to find a property and Bill talked me out of it. I looked it up and a Realtor is described as a salesperson but what’s great about Bill is he acts more as a consultant. He is honest and made my stressful journey comfortable. Thanks Bill!!
